Religious

Faith is the cornerstone of the Mitchell family. Accordingly, as owners of the company, the Mitchells consider it a privilege to build a church or other religious facility. Each one of the G.W. Mitchell officers and many of its employees are active in leadership within  their respective churches. Accordingly,  when it comes to their ability to work with clientele such as a church committee, church staff or clergy, Mitchell can provide a strong level of comfort for looking out for the best interest of the church’s construction needs.

Some examples of Mitchell’s religious portfolio include new church campuses at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and Oak Hills Church of Christ as well as extensive additions and renovations to existing church facilities at First Baptist Church, Castle Hills United Baptist Church, University United Methodist Church, and Coker United Methodist Church. Since 1960, Mitchell has completed over 900,000 square feet of religious projects which in today’s value totals over $130 million.
